Dates to Remember - CARDS


 March 24, 2017      

Last day to submit old paper claims forms or old flat file format.

 March 27, 2017

**NEW** paper Claims Indexing Form (D-38) will be available to insurers and TPAs for use and will be accepted by WCS.  There is no grace period for submitting paper claims.

 April 3-7, 2017

Insurers and TPAs to provide information for External Administrators of NEW Website.

 April 11, 2017

CARDS system launches.  External Administrators may begin completing the Insurer/TPA Information Form and linking TPAs.  They may also begin adding External Users and granting user permissions including global TPA permissions.  External users can begin registering and using the system based on granted permissions.  For Insurers/TPAs who choose to wait for the CARDS web portal, there is a grace period until April 30, 2017 to index all claims that were not indexed prior to March 24, 2017.

Grace period ends for Insurers/TPAs who chose to index claims using CARDS web portal.

 September 1, 2017

Flat File must be developed and ready for testing by WCS.  Once testing is complete, the stakeholder will receive a login to the FTP site and can begin indexing claims.  For Insurers/TPAs who choose to develop the Flat File, there is a grace period until October 30, 2017 to index all claims that were not indexed prior to March 24, 2017.

 October 1, 2017  

Insurers/TPAs using the Flat File method must begin indexing claims that were not indexed prior to March 24, 2017.

 October 30, 2017     

Grace period ends for Insurers/TPAs who chose to index claims using the Flat File.
